I obtain a Steam key for the game since I bought it from GOG.Paradox Interactive / Haemimont Games flips the switch that allows one to manually download mods from Steam (I'm not sure why this option isn't enabled already.).so it seems I have a few potential options. I tried manually downloading a mod using Steamcmd and it seems that option is disabled. Since 95 of all mods are released at the workshop and only a few of the mod author's provide non-steam download link it was sometimes frustrating to get interesting mods. I've been looking into mods for it and it seems most of the mods are on Steam and can't be obtained elsewhere or are not updated often elsewhere.
